  • Kassie Sandacz | CEO

    Kassie Sandacz is a hard working entrepreneur. Not only is she the Chief Executive Officer for Voices of Vets, she also holds a masters degree in Mathematics and completed a graduate certificate last year in Instructional Systems Design. Currently, her day job is with a biotech firm where she leads the Learning and Development program.

  • Don Wolcott | Music Director

    Don Wolcott began playing music at age four. He studied jazz performance at Towson University, and has since become an in-demand guitarist, pianist, bassist and vocalist in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. Additionally, he frequently works as a music producer, arranger, and educator.

  • Joseph Lloyd, Vice Chairman

    Is a Vietnam veteran, who served two deployments from 1966-1968. He received his degree as a Certified Financial Planner, set up a State Farm Agency, and later became President of a broker/dealer firm with over 250 nationwide representatives.

  • MCPO Ariana Ramirez

    Has been serving in the United States Navy for over 21 years. She has a passion for helping others, and vets are no exception. She would like to do her part to help make VOV the best organization it can be to spread joy and lift spirits of veterans everywhere.

  • Bert L. Rice, COL, USA (Ret)

    After graduating from Montana State University in 1959, COL. Bert Rice served in the US Army on active duty for 30 years; retiring as a Colonel. He served tours in Vietnam, Iran, and in the Pentagon.

  • COL McCreedy

    Is a former commander of Ft. Meade, Maryland. After retiring from the Army in 2008, he became a member of the Board of Directors of the Fort Meade Alliance, leads the Military and Family Affairs Committee, and is Commander of the Meade Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars.

  • Prashant Dubey, Esq

    Grew up in Richmond, VA, where he later attended the University of Richmond. He has been a practicing attorney since May 2019, and also works for Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Account Manager.

  • Pete Smith

    After serving in the US Marine Corp for 24 years, Pete became an Intelligence Officer in the Reserves, was the Military & Veterans Liaison, and both County Councilman and Vice-Chairman for Anne Arundel County. Pete is also a a member of the Military Order of World War and a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers.

  • J. Adger Stokes

    After 4 years of military service and becoming a Captain in Military Intelligence, J. Adger Stokes worked in sales and management positions with DuPont and Agfa corporations. In the inactive reserves, he was then promoted to Major.

  • LeAnn McCreedy

    Is a retired military spouse who has a great heart for veterans and their family members. She is a long-serving board member of the Retired Officers Wives Club of Ft. Meade. She brings energy and a heart for service to the Voices of Vets Board.

  • Lori LaRussa

    Lori became passionate about serving Veterans due to her father’s military service. She has worked at Hospice of the Chesapeake and Brightview Senior Living, and is a member in both respective Veterans groups.

  • Maj James H (Jim) Shiffrin, USAF (Ret)

    Is a retired senior software engineer with over 42 years experience. He has been President of the Fort Meade Chapter of the Military Officers' Association of America, and is the Treasurer of the Chapter and Webmaster for the Maryland Council of Chapters.

  • Sheldon Goldberg, Lt Col, USAF

    Is a 30-year veteran of the US Air Force. He served tours in Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Germany. He then was a faculty member of the Air Command and Staff College, and the School of Associate Programs, Air War College.

  • Jean

    Jean has been a civilian with the Department of Defense for close to 30 years, to include an overseas assignment. She has a deep appreciation for those that have served in our armed forces. She is excited to be part of an organization dedicated to bringing enhancing the lives of our veterans.
